Morning Memories

There is mystery
in her eyes,
a playfulness
in her kiss,
and a hollow void
in the indention
where once she did lay
on my bed.

  1. I love your Mag … from the male perspective!!!!

  2. This was great..hard to fill that void sometimes..

  3. I agree with Helen…it was good to read a males take on the prompt. Very good!

  4. I haven’t seen the prompt, so your wee poem is as mysterious as her eyes.

    Simple and beautifully evocative…

  6. succinctly put- I am enjoying what is being written by men

  7. I loved this for its magical simplicity, how just one sentence made the poem and the last line’s play – ‘where once she did lay on my bed’

  8. That “hollow void” personalizes this, a noticeable longing for someone that was there and left her mark. Nice in its simplicity, Mark.

    I liked it a lot.

Some of what I write is true, some is fiction; most is merely possibility.
