We now consider
no fruit forbidden,
no knowledge sacred,
no secret worthy
of remaining hidden.
There is low hanging fruit,
accessible to all,
within easy reach,
but it is our glory,
and our downfall,
to always search
for that just beyond
our grasp.

  1. A perspicacious poem…

  2. Oh so true. And I like very much your response to the picture.

  3. Glory and downfall – you said it…

  4. So true, Mark.
    Times have definitely changed.

  5. Well said. It should be shouted loud from every roof top.

  6. Tess Kincaid

Some of what I write is true, some is fiction; most is merely possibility.
