Not yet

She smiled a sad
sort of smile,

squeezed my hand
and said “not yet,

ask me again in
a little while”.

A little while

passed,

and then a little
more.

  1. On the Jam tomorrow but never Jam today principle. Well and succinctly written.

  2. This is a stunner, Mark.

  3. that’s the problem with time,…..it keeps on passing! those ‘little whiles’ add up!

    • Hello! Who is this visiting on a non-wordle day? 🙂

      • I know, I know. I was at Carry on Tuesday’s site to update for the freeforall, and checked to see how many people were posting [I am feeling far too proprietary about these sites]. I saw your name and was curious to see what you did with the repetition. Like I say: Oh, yes.
        🙂

      • Thank you. I shall be out of touch most of the next week. Heading to Disney World tomorrow!

      • Fabulous! Remember this tactic. When you arrive at any of the places, go straight to the back and work forward, if it’s morning. Do the opposite after lunch. Also check Epcot. When we were there last year about this time, they were having a beer, wine, food festival. Enjoy.

      • Hmm, for some reason my email replies are not being posted…. Anyway. Yes, we have been going to Disney for years. I used to work at the Grand Floridian. Have been lots and lots. And lots. Still enjoy it. Should be slow this week, not too bad for lines, and since we have seen of all we do not have to stress about it. And food/wine thing is going on next weekend so may get a day in of that.

  4. This is completely Brian Andreas. I love it. I think it’s one of my favorites. It could mean anything!

Some of what I write is true, some is fiction; most is merely possibility.
