Three Words

Trifecta asked us to provide a new ending for the Robert Frost phrase “In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about…”:

In three words I can sum up everything
I’ve learned about
the past:

  1. True. True. True. 🙂

  2. Regret. One dirty word.

  3. Love this, Mark. And love the shape you gave it. Excellent.

  4. Now that is profound. Brilliant, my friend.

  5. So sad to look back and see regret. I agree with Marie. Regret is a dirty word.

  6. Hard to escape it. It finds us all in some way or other. Thanks for sharing this!

Some of what I write is true, some is fiction; most is merely possibility.
