Reconcile

A moment of harmony,
an instant of bliss,
after years of discord.

It was a moment of…
not triumph, but…hope.

A glimmer only,
but enough to move
beyond thoughts
of failure,

to believe again
in the promise of love
and the vows of marriage.

    reconcile marriage? Isn’t that DONE these days? Just kidding – I loved this because of the willingness to hope on a little tiny “sliver”.
