Dead End

Every path will contain obstacles,
imposing barriers of progress;
tests of will, determination.
Strength of character to prove,
decisions must be made;
take the easy route
and turn around,
or full speed
and bust
through.

  1. Bust through! Bust through! Thank you for this.

  2. This is a clever one. I like busting through, too.

    I just wanted to tell you that I love this poem so much that I have saved it in my email to return to and refer to whenever I need it. Thank you so much. I cannot say this enough, but you are really an excellent writer. You should really think about trying to be published somewhere, if you are not already. You deserve to have more recognition for your writing than you already do. Thank you for this excellent poem here, and for sharing your writing here with all of us. I really appreciate it.

Some of what I write is true, some is fiction; most is merely possibility.
