How much more lonely
The barren winter branches
For lack of birdsong.

  3. Yeah, this is spot on, I saw an empty birds nest in a leafless tree today!

  4. When Hurricane Katrina hit the New Orleans area — we went without birdsong for months … such an eerily quiet and barren feeling!! Nicely done!
